“Nick what are you doing here?!” I meant to whisper but it came out louder than I thought. One of the guys walked up to me. He was dressed in black ski mask and all black clothing, so I couldn’t tell who he was. His fist rose and came down, crashing into my face. I yelped in pain.

He started to speak, “I told you to keep quiet, you stupid little bitch!”

I sat there with tears streaming down my face.

“Don’t ever fucking hit her like that again!” Nick yelled at the guy.

He walked over to Nick, I swear he was going to do something to Nick.

“DON’T TOUCH HIM OR ONCE I’M FREE I’LL SLIT YOUR THROAT BITCH.” I said and I’m being dead serious. Nick is like my prize possesion, I love him to pieces. I can’t let anyone hurt him.

He walked back over to me and shut my eyes because I knew what was going to happen next. “Hey Jack, chill. They’re just kids.” Another guy said, who I’m guessing is his partner.

“We’ll back in the morning. Don’t mess around and behave!” Jack said. He and his partner left the room.

“Nick, how did you even get here?!” I asked.

“How did YOU?” He asked me back.

“Looking for you, fuckass!”

“Well you see, I had to go take a piss so I woke up in the middle of night. Got out of the tent. I thought I was going the right way to your house but instead I walked off your property. Next thing you know, I was hit and I passed out.”

I don’t even want to be here right now. I’m so worried. OH MY GOD, my parents. I just want to cry. I don’t fucking deserve this. Tears starting dropping from my face onto my PJS.

“Hey babe, don’t cry. Everything’s gonna be alright. Someones gonna save us, I promise.” Nick said soothingly. He makes me feels safe but I just started screaming at him.

“NO EVERYTHING IS NOT GOING TO BE ALRIGHT. WE’RE TRAPPED IN SOME PLACE AND WE CANT GET OUT. WE’RE TIED UP. WE’RE BEING ABUSED. Well, I was. They didnt even touch- ANYWAY, HOW DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE IS GONNA SAVE US? WE DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE WE ARE. WE COULD BE MILES AWAY FROM JERSEY FOR ALL I KNOW. WE’RE NEVER GONNA GET OUT OF THE STUPID ROOM. WE’RE GONNA DIE OK? JUST FACE IT. NO ONES GONNA SAVE US. LEAVE ME ALONE. DON’T FUCKING TALK TO ME RIGHT NOW!” I screamed at him. I felt like I had smoke coming out of my ears. You could feel the tension in the room. What’s wrong with me? Screaming at him like that. Imagine how he felt. I’m a horrible person.

“Oh my- I’m so sorry Nick. I never knew…. I could be like that. I’m so stupid” I said sheepishly.

“You’re not stupid and its ok. You’re probably right anyways. I’ll leave you alone now.” He said back to me in the calmest voice ever. He looked so sad and it was all my fault. I fucking hate myself.

It was silent and I think 2 hours passed already. My eyes started to close and my brain is telling me to sleep. Just like that, I fell asleep.

I woke up and heard footsteps. I looked over to Nick and he was still sleeping.

“Nick wake up! They’re coming!” I said, panicking. The door opened….
